Braces
Traditional metal or self-ligating clear brackets. Fewer visits than braces used to take.
Braces have changed more in the last ten years than most patients realize. Self-ligating brackets — the clip-style brackets we use most often now — don't need the colored elastic ties traditional braces use, which means less friction on the wire and, for most patients, fewer adjustment visits.
We offer both traditional metal and self-ligating clear brackets. Metal is still the most efficient option for complex movements and tends to cost less; clear brackets blend in but need a little more care to keep stain-free.
Either way, the plan is the same: a digital scan, a custom treatment plan, brackets placed at your first appointment, and adjustments roughly every 6–8 weeks until we're ready to move to retainers.
