Teens
We'll help you weigh sports, instruments, and social comfort against timeline and cost.
Most teens are candidates for either braces or Invisalign Teen — the deciding factors are usually lifestyle, not the complexity of the case. Contact sports and wind instruments tend to push toward Invisalign; teens who won't reliably wear removable aligners tend to do better with braces.
Invisalign Teen includes compliance indicators that fade with wear, so we can tell at a check-in whether aligners are actually being worn the recommended 20–22 hours a day — useful for a treatment that depends on consistency to stay on schedule.
We'll lay out both options at the consultation, with a real timeline and cost for each, and let your teen weigh in on the decision.
